Journey of the heart
There is not much meaning in traveling anymore.
Claire and I were examining our passports while at the waiting lounge in Lyon's St Exupery International airport. Between us we covered probably half the world.
There is not much meaning in traveling anymore. As if all the town squares and cathedrals have meshed together. As if all the cobbled stone pavements lead to the same place. As if all histoires are one. Where has my awe at the littlest quintessentials gone?
There is not much meaning in traveling anymore. Which is why I've decided I'll only visit.
The four days in Lyon was wonderful and deeply meaningful because I stayed with Claire and her family and spent time with them. It didn't matter that it rained incessantly and we were cold all the time. There was so much warmth and love in that home.
My next trips would be to Zurich to visit Eve, and we would pick up our conversations from 4.5 years back as if there was no interruption. And then back to Buckingham (not the castle) to go horse riding with Saphie and Ping; to sing Fairy Tale together and get lots of kisses from a very passionate 7 year old. And then perhaps a clear[er] path into the future.
Pardon me, if I don't write much for a while (you probably already think I'm too full of words). I seem to be at loss for stories. Or it could be the other way; too much going on in my mind. I'll let you enjoy the pictures instead.
Collonges, Lyon, coming up.

Hehe...dun travel anymore, come back to M'sia :)
hmmm...perhaps that's one of the reason how you ended up in UK..to learn something..so that you won't always wonder if you are missing something in life...that it can be a closed chapter and you may continue elsewhere where God puts you,and you will then be able to realised your potential to the fullest! :)Perhaps that's the reason you are in UK..who knows...sometimes,the grass always look greener on the other side, but unless until you realised that where you are is really where you should be; then you will never be contented in life...don't you think?
Nicole, you've probably have read this many times, but I feel that thins muight be interesting for you at this crossroad.
"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference
...Robert Frost"
And hopefully, at the end of the day, you will regurgitate the words of Frank Sinatra.. " I've lived a life thats full, I've travelled each and every highway, and more, much more than this, I did it my way..."
Kevyn.
